I don't like Nikes. Explain this to me.

Yo, I heard about this forum from youtube and I always wanted to ask Nike people why they go crazy over em.
Not here to **** or troll, I'm legit asking why you think they are good shoes.
I'm not a shoe person and i'v never tried them but to me, they look like the generic $20 shoes I buy from shoe warehouse but with the swish logo.
Is it really just cause famous people wear em or am I really missing something here?
