As a Lakers fan, I didn't catch a lot of Cavs games this year but you guys had a great regular season lead by the league's MVP. Mike Brown also wonCOTY, but I noticed a lot you guys complaining about him and his inability to coach. At first, I thought it was just sour grapes looking to blame the coachinstead of the players for lack of execution but last night I saw something that I have never seen in my entire pro basketball viewing life.

What the hell was this assistant coach doing drawing up plays at this junction in the game? What the hell was Mike Brown doing? As I said, I've never seenanything like this in basketball during crunch time unless the head coach was booted. Cavs need to give this fraud the boot,

His O is "Family Guy" funny. No way in hell should a athletic like Bron be suck in a a system like that.

He gets a front row seat to watch Lebron play every night, and all he has to do is sit there with a mouth full of sunflower seeds and say a few choice words toreporters at halftime and after the game.

Basically Lebron won coach of the year and MVP.
 
He's been outcoached this series. IMO LeBron is his only game plan and he's looking for the players to figure it out by themselves on the court.
 
He is a horrendous offensive coach, this has been known for a long time, why make him draw up plays when you know he can't, he is a defensive coach.

Tom Thibbadeau does the same thing for the celtics except on the defensive side of the ball.
 
i've been sayin for years we win in spite of him, not because of him. hes not the worst coach in the league, but hes definitely not the best. we'vebeen better since we focused more on the D but still, he is unable to make changes. i remember it took him half a season to realize eric snow wasnt an NBAstarter anymore back a few seasons ago.

does he even have a rotation? its in and out with his bench players, how are they suppose to know when they are coming in.

i think lebron should play off the ball more, and post up. but i'm not sure who is at fault, lebron over dribbling and taking way too many jumpers. italways takes them to the last minutes to start attacking the baskets.

d12 getting all those dunks, smh. put someone in there that isnt afraid to hack him.

I lost respect for him last season or the year before I forgot. Basically the game was tied with seconds left, Bron Bron hit what looked like a game winner butit was clearly after the buzzer, refs initially ruled it good.. Mike Brown started running to the locker room and telling his team "let's go, nointerviews no nothing, let's go" because he knew it shouldn't have counted. Regardless, the refs looked at the play again and it went to OT.

yeah he is suppose to be a defensive coach yet he's still getting worked on that pick n roll late in games w/ Hedo....he deserved COTY about as much as sammitchell did
 
I've been a part of basketball since I was about 4 years old. I've played rec ball, in church leagues, CYO ball, high schoolball, and upper level intramurals in college. I know there are certain principles that you're suppose to follow in basketball. Things like help defense ifyou see your teammate getting blown by, defending the middle of the court on fast breaks, doubling down in the paint on dominant players, certain ways ofdefending the pick and roll. For the most Mike Brown has held to these principles, and they have been our down fall. You have to coach tothe other teams personnel. Their three point shooters are killing us, and the reason is Mike Brown is not coaching against their personnel, he's coachingbasketball. You can not let three point shooters have open looks, and cause of Mike Browns defensive philosophy they're getting them. Forget covering themiddle on fast breaks, Run out to the SHOOTERS.When covering the pick and roll, Switch andrun out to the SHOOTER. Dwight Howard do that spin in the middle Wrap him up.Dwight Howardget the ball in the post DON'T DOUBLE OFF THE SHOOTERS let him go 1on1.Give up the 2 point play. Make them putthe ball on the damn floor, stop giving WIDE OPEN LOOKS. PUT LEBRON ON LEWIS AT END OF GAMESNOT BEN WALLACE.If we lose this series, its on Mike Brown, if we win this series, its NOT on Mike Brown. His defensive philosophy isabsolutely killing us, and his stubborness to change his philosophy is our damn downfall. Dude is terrible

but in defense of coach Brown he doesnt have the players to stop it.. he has sg players in pg bodies
 
they run the worst offense I've ever seen. give the ball the LBJ, stand in the corners, and let him create.
 
He's not the best, nor the worst coach as stated earlier...

Sometimes the head coach is simply the guy who has the personality/leadership qualities to run a team...I don't see anything wrong with having anoffensive/defensive coach on your staff instructing the team during a timeout. Those guys are the specialists, and they get paid very well to do so.

Cats really be reaching here...
