Great to see Maggette back out there today, looked to pick right up where he left off last season. Julian Wright was tough today too, having Q back helped a lot too. Some really nice ball movement for Power today, and they absolutely shut down Ghost Ballers in the 2nd half. Hopefully Bird’s injury isn’t serious and he can return with Cat next weekend.
Commentators spoke on the player changes, and that JO was deactivated due to a heart condition. The other 3 because they weren’t in shape/not playing, and that they consulted with other players in the league. Was done to keep the level of competition high.
The announced total for Atlanta last week was 12,100.
Just watching Joe Johnson and Al Jefferson play take age out of the equation they can play NBA ball, it is just their type of games are not compatible for the current NBA. They would have been perfect Grit and Grind Grizzlies that weren't going anywhere championship wise in today's NBA.
Hawk looking like the Hawk of last season. Monsters always going to struggle if Reggie is their main source of buckets. Triplets sit atop alone now, looking forward to the Power/Triplets matchup on Saturday.
How’d these other teams allow Triplets to get both Iso Joe & Big Al?
So dude had a heart attack trying to get back in shape, sat out the entire season he was “active” & you want him back? I wouldn’t be comfortable with him out there, now knowing this. More to life than hoops, especially if it’s just Big 3.
