This doesn't necessarily mean we get to the Super Bowl, but you just never know...

With McCree, you intercept the ball and go down... We're up already, run the ball, kill the clock... Kick a FG and put the game away...

You guys would still be mediocre at best.

this team is better than what the record shows.
all those damn close losses to indy, seattle, tennesee, and houston
if it wasnt for our qb switch ups and the crabtree drama we would be at the top of the division

Seriously, that one win would have went a long way.

In addition, Duke went without a field goal for the last 4 1/2 minutes until Chris Duhon's meaningless three-pointer at the buzzer. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski was denied his 65th NCAA Tournament victory which would have tied him with Dean Smith for the all-time record.[sup][1][/sup]

Yea we had a whip that year thats for sure. Funny how he pointed to that and I pointed to Shaun skipping out on Durham and going to the draft when it allhappened in the same year... marked a veer down a dark path that we have yet to emerge from

AND MY VIKINGS IN 1998:

1998 - Denver vs. Minnesota - Super Bowl XXXII
The defending champion Broncos took care of business and returned to the Super Bowl and everyone wanted tosee them go against the high-powered Minnesota Vikings, who had scored a then-record 556 points and went 15-1. But the Vikings choked the NFC title game athome when kicker Gary Anderson missed a 38-yard field goal with minutes left that would have put the team up 30-20. The Falcons got the tying touchdown andthen won on a field goal in overtime, 30-27. Ironically, it was the first missed field goal of the season for Anderson. Atlanta went on to get spanked in theSuper Bowl, 34-19

I remember being SO CONFIDENT that it was going to get overturned. I was barely worried.

&

Garrison Hearst broke the fibula bone in his left leg on the first play from scrimmage in the NFC divisional playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons inJanuary 1999. Hearst caught his left cleat in the turf after being spun around by Falcons defensive end Chuck Smith following a seven-yard run in the firstquarter.
