Top-ranked in what? What is that even supposed to mean? 'Sides all those countries ahead of the US are pure vagina.

Dude you're Calgarian? Sick. I was born and raised in Calg and moved to Van for school and now I'll never leave. Still show my AB pride though haha.
Yea, only for the last year or so. Grew up in southern Alberta, came here for work. Expensive to live, but worth it.
As a Canadian I don't know why some of y'all are so cocky about a sport we were supposed to dominate in That's like a senior varsity squad playing against a bunch of primary school kids, they're just expected to win. It's also funny how some of you guys are trying to prove a point using Amercian pop culture references....face it
^^^ Damn son, you aren't too bright. I guess anybody can edit the UN's official website as well... http://hdr.undp.org/en/humandev/reports/
you are a &^%^ing imbecile senior varsity playing primary school? there are great players all over the world and the states had arguably the best goalie on their team. Obviously we were expected to win but its not like we were distroying teams. It's funny how you commenting when you seem to know jack^%&* about hockey...and what exactly are we suppose to face???
I agree with you that bragging about sporting accomplishments is kind of lame but international hockey is much more competitive than international basketball. There are 7 very good hockey teams in the world that can win at anytime. In international basketball the U.S. are head and shoulders above everyone else and then you have maybe 2 other legit teams such as Argentina and Spain. There is far less competition in men's basketball than there is in men's hockey and yet Americans still brag about dominating the sport. Is it wrong for them to brag about it? Ofcourse not. But it's ridiculous for anyone to discredit Canada's international hockey success when you have so many other good teams capable of winning gold.
That list can't be right, no NY or LA? That's all I hear on NT. And ps. to whoever asked who cares about the winter Olympics, the US cared enough to send the most athletes.
