im having trouble with retail real estate.... anyone?!?

im trying to get a round about idea of rent in a retail space in my city...
so far i have... NO IDEA...

where to start?
i've googled everything... there's a place in town i like,but i wanna know what their sq ftg. is so i can get an idea..
ugh this is frustrating.....
