In an MMA fight, would Ronda Rousey beat Floyd Mayweather?

Ronda Rousey couldnt even do something basic side step a straight punch by a female. Floyd would murder this chick, you dudes are drunk.

i was under the impression that MMA was a substantively different sport that prioritized a different set of skills. that things like take down defense and wrestling defense matterd. That's what I was told, that's what I've read.

If it thats not true then I defer to mma fans expertise.


but these men vs women arguments are mostly just wrong.

this argument about reflexes also wrong.

I mean somone in this thread tried to tell me that steph curry could beat ronda in a fight, I find that to be insnae.

It's not that it's not "true", but certain fighters are just bad stylistic matchups for other fighters.

Takedown defense vs. a wrestler and takedown defense vs. a judoka are not the same.

And Ronda is not a wrestler.

If you were basing your argument on the most basic generalizations of MMA and Boxing, then it makes sense.

But if you look at the pros and cons of each fighter, this is a BAD fight for her.

 

because she competes in the sport doesnt mean I hafta believe she is very skilled at it, shes not.

steph is 6 foot 3 (ok 6 foot) and has ungodly hand eye coordination haha if you dont understand why a 5'5 135 lbs woman couldnt put him an armbar I dont know what to tell ya, other than your wrong.

theres this assumption if you dont know mma you cant have sucess at it period... at the end of the day theres weight classes/divisions for a reason and women dont fight men for a reasonnn. could you imagane rhonda vs mighty mouse? :x

I thnk you may be misrembering word to big Clemens. This 100% happened on This week in baseball like 10 years ago. Bonds wasn't swinging full on. He was just showing her that he can make contact with all of her pitches. Made her look dumb as hell
