Internet Explorer 8 help?

How do i delete the history in the address bar? nothing seems to get deleted after going through the internet options?
 
my boys were checking out some sites but they seem to stay in the address bar ?

i think i got it!! i unchecked the -use windows search for better results in the autocomplete and that seems to do it
 
when your in internet options click on delete, make sure all boxes are checked, apply, then okay it.

also, next to delete there is the settings box, at the bottom you can choose how many days you want IE to store pages. Default is at 20, you can change to 0.

and while IE is opened, and you drop down the address bar tab, you can [x] pages individually by click the x that pops up when you hover the mouse over theright side of each address.
