Is it true that transparent out souls wear out faster outdoors, than say all black?

Hello, I recently order a size 12 Giannis Immortality’s from Nike, but they are crazy long, so I’m going to have to return them and get the 11.5. I got the Force Field colorway, which has an all transparent outsoul. I’ve heard that those kind of out souls wear much faster on outdoor courts than say an all black one.

Should I go for this colorway instead?

Ok, then I think I'm just going to return them and get the next size down. My Kyrie 7's which are a size 12 fit perfectly, but the giannis Im. size 12 are crazy long.
