Son gives opinions on sports like a girl that doesn't really know about sports but is trying to impress her man [IMG]

Plateau, dudes who say hes on the decline cant be taken srs

You cant avg 25 5 & 7 and be on the decline when theirs only 2 other players putting up similar numbers

I mean, it's still a decline for Lebron.. That's how impressive his peak was.. That his current numbers are actually low for him.

I agree that he's on a plateau. I can't really see him getting much better. But I have noticed some difference in his athleticism and I couldnt fathom how it could happen so quick cuz he looked fine last year. Now after finding out he has back issues it makes sense. Back injuries can really hamper how hard you can push off, and effects explosiveness.

Nah, he's just a mental midget that never adjusted offensively and now defenders have his number all of the time.

Yeah, but his drop off isnt a normal persons drop off. His drop off is still leading to elite production compared to the rest of the league. But we arent seeing the same player, his prime is past him.

You cant be past your prime at 30, if he was past his prime he would be looking like kobe or wizards mj

Your prime isnt only dependent on age though. Its unlikely we're going to see 2007-2014 LeBron again. That was his prime, it is past him. That doesnt mean that hes Wizards Jordan or Current Kobe, but hes not going to be that player he was again.

But peaked only means he reached his ceiling, lebron is still in his prime

Some players peak early than others but that doesnt mean they are past there prime

Ai peaked in 01 but you wouldnt say he was past his prime in 04, same with melo, you wouldnt say hes past his prime when hes been the same player most of his career

Right, exactly.  The decline can come a long time after the peak.

Was kobe past his prime during the 2 seasons he won b2b titles?

Yall think 30 = automatic decline which is false, just because your athleticism takes a hit doesnt mean you fell off

it's been shown that after 30 every year comes a drop off in production dudes in here have posted stats showing that...

There are exceptions to the rules but they are that...exceptions..

Yes, his finishing around the basket, something he was pretty much better at than any non-center ever has fallen off due to the decline in his ahtleticism. Plus, his defense just isn't where it used to be either.

I think he has one more phenomenal year left in him. Last year broke him down faster than anyone thought.

Not yet, but he's extremely close (1-2 years) if he can avoid injury.

    Ehhh, we'll see.

    Hmmmm. Maybe your right.

Yes Kobe. Amazing what this man is doing this season at his age and his torn down body.

    Thank you.
