One of the greatest Nike hoop kicks, indoor or out. I have absolutely no problems wioth them outside, and they are perfect inside. Have had mine since they released and they still peform like new. My hoop kick rotation is about 100 pairs so that might also have helped them last as long as they have.

This guy Jack is a hater... He's got it BAD for Zoom Air.. Look at his posts:

"What I am gonna say here might not be popular, and may even get me flamed, but here it goes.....

.. I copped a pair of these to ball in, as I liked the way that they looked. They are a really good hoops shoe, but the upper is of the same quality as the Starbury's. The only difference between these shoes is not only the name, but in the vaunted Zoom Air, which is featured as the cushioning setup. I am trying to find a pair of SB's that have a Zoom insole, to place inside of the Starbury's.

I bet that they feel exactly the same after this....."

"Zoom Air freaks would love the feel of the cushioning in this shoe, but I hated it. The Zoom Air added to the NUMBNESS I was experiencing from the upper, as that was very restrictive."

""I hope he isn't stupid enough to wear anything with Zoom Air again....."

    WOW.

There was more, but I can't find it... But facts are facts..

-He hates ZOOM AIR as if it stole from him.

-He hates Kicks that uses ZOOM AIR.

    -He sweats Basketball stars.

    -He sweats Gentry.

    -He sweats Jordan Brand.

    Hmm....

Gentry is that you? -or do you wish you was him?

Your cred is shot for being a hater on technology. How can someone believe you if you're so dang Biased??

O.K. Ultraposiotes were not flexible enough.. but what about all the other kicks that use Zoom Air??

    Hate

hahaha yah i read that starbury comment and laughed i mean put a zoom air insole in any shoe and its gonna feel like a zoom air shoe.oh well thats his opinion let him roll with it.What can u do convince him a zoom air shoe is good?Let him continue to waste his money on shoes with zoom air and continue to complain aout them cause he's just wasting his money.I dont really see the sense in buying shoes with tech you dont like. Its his money though.

    Air96ST,

Sorry bud, but I don't want to "get it quick"...

But just watching the progression of his post from start to you're saying, this shoe worked well for you, this shoe worked well, but has three caveats, and now it's unflexible?

I dug your original post when you stated, "You posted your opinion now move on." You certainly didn't follow your credo.

As for Hubie/Jack Johnson/Cyde/whatever else, you'll soon find out he doesn't dig many Nikes or Zoom and definitely not Kobe  [IMG] . Yes, I believe he's a bit abrasive and a bit TOO persistent with a few of his ideas, but several of the slept on shoes he's recommended are nice on court...the ATR Thunders, Gil-Zeros, etc. Certainly I agree with him on some things...but the Zoom Kobe 2 stuff is excellent on court...

Secondly, the dude is in sport/medicine/biomechanics and he's worked with a lot of athletes...so yeah his sources are pretty reliable, at least I'd say..but that's just my opinon.

    I'll move on now.

    I own both.

    FP1 > Ultraposite

The UPs have a slightly lower profile and are therefore slightly more responsive. However, the overall fit isn't as good as the FP1. The UP is slightlymore substantial (bulky) in the upper and the crease in the toe area caused blistering across the top of my feet during that "break-in" period. TheFP1 envelops the foot much more comfortably and there are no heavy friction points. They feel like an extension of your foot.

Aesthetically, the UPs have a little bit of an edge (imo), but once the shiny molded areas are exposed and the shoes are put to good use, it's scuff cityand the "clean" look is gone forever. The FP1 holds up extremely well no matter what you put them through.

The Flightposite 1 is where it's at - Scoop them up while you can. Multiples.

I had a pair a while back and all i can remember is that they were pretty stiff and made my feet hurt even after I i had them for several months. Funny thingis I got them cause of Kicksology too.

Yep I found a pair for cheap after reading them on Kicksology and after a few wears I was not a fan of the stiff and bulky feel. I love my Zoom BB1's x10better.

I regret not getting a pair. And I think Nike made a mistake by not releasing more colorways. J. Kidd got a PE (white/navy).

I had those back in the day, once I broke them in (after several wears) they were nice. I hated how the velcro on the tongue killed the laces, but that's aproblem I seem to have with all shoes that have velcro. Nonetheless, great shoe, not the best Posite but a good looking shoe.

I love foam/flightposites as much as the next man, but I never gave these a shot.

To me, the foam line ended with the Flightposite III and didn't get a boost until the Lebron IV.

As far as top bball shoe ever, that's all personal opinion. Also, no one person's foot is shaped the same as the next man. So to each his own. Butpersonally, NOTHING tops theses as far as performance is concerned:
