Is there a charge for calling 911 and having EMS come out? I just called for my neighbor

Some how she got her finger stuck in the window I'm doing HW and all of a sudden Ihear someone screaming didn't think much of it till I head her screaming my name. I couldn't get to her because her door was locked. I went to grab thephone call and like 4 mins later they showed up. glad to see shes ok except for some swelling. My first time calling 911

Have you ever had to call? If so for what?
Am I getting charged?

No it wasn't needed. I asked what happened right before I dialed

My mad it was a window she went to open it and it just came down

She couldn't lift it with the other hand? But to answer your question, you should be good.
