Completely agree. Especially on twitter. Don't get me started though.

I have a twitter account but only use it to follow ESPN,CNN, New York Times, etc. Its really effective to spread news quickly but pointless, imo, to follow aperson constantly.

True that but I had deleted my facebook (not deactivated) while I was still in college, graduated... and our school does not do alumni e-mails soif that were the case I would have never been able to sign back up.
