I've seen episode 1-3 bu tnone of the original Star Wars though...but last time I've seen ET i was 4 i didn't know what was going onlything i cared about was bikes that flew
 
Im shocked at dudes citing DTRT. I swear I barely know anyone who has heard of the movie
or even Spike Lee for that matter. Its cool to see other people who appreciate a film that I love so much.
