He needs to work on shot selection, but he has the skills to be a good player in the league. Lets just hope the Blazers trade Blake and not him.

Appreciated. But come on.. let's not talk like he was ready for these minutes that much before now.. Steve Blake is not a bad player.. but clearly, Baylesscan be so much greater now that he's figured the NBA game..

Uhh he really was tho. Dude was RIGHT on par with Mayo, Gordon, etc. Maybe his style of play really doesn't mesh well with the mold of theteam when healthy but there's no way in hell off individual talent alone that he wasn't "ready" to play big minutes in the NBA.

And he had 31 points a couple games ago. Dude just had a tough time finding good shots tonight. If he works on his decision making, he'll be a problem in ayear or two.

His shot has improved a lot. He was not hitting that 3 before. And being able to hit that 3's essential to playing off B Roy. Plus, we'retalking about different circumstances here. Portland is a playoff team so more is expected of Bayless. He would've gotten tons of minutes since last yearhad he been on the Clips or Grizz too.

dude you just basically repeated the guy above you

He finally got his chance and is definately making the most of it. He still needs to work on his shot selection and sharing the rock, but hes a natural scorer. The more he plays the better he will understand the game and the better decisions he will make in all aspects of his game. I believe his shot is CONSIDERABLYimproved from last season. Hes added a 18 foot jumper that he has never had as well as a 3 ball. If he continues to improve on those, (which he proved he hasthe ability too), he could be a problem and a great asset for the Blazers. No trade here, sorry blakey/andre :/

JB is a nice player, but God he needs to improve his shot selection. I give him some slack because the leash is off of him, but whther they trade him or not,he can play.
