Mecks,

Apply at ATT man, google ATT CAREERS

They have an office in Gardena they work out of, local enough for ya. It wouldn't be instant, would require passing an assessment, but its an avenue worth considering

Dam 2 months. Ive been outta work 1 week and i was about to start to get depressed then i realize. Why? Life is good. Im living. If i already got a problem why have two. Im just going to apply like crazy and what happens happens. Im good.

Been banking on this Probation Officer job. Have a Criminal Justice degree plus experience within the field. Just got word that they're only interviewing people with Masters degrees :smh:

Feels very bad...man.

Are you from a major city where it's hard to get into the police force?

Boston. Pretty much impossible. There's literally thousands of people on the waiting list to get into the state police too. Not really interested in becoming a cop anyways.

Back to square 1. This whole bachelor's degree thing isn't exactly paying off. smh.

I have an interview tomorrow. Have some hope. I hope it goes we'll and NY tenure on this thread is done

I feel like i might get fired soon. I'm trying to work real hard so I can become better. and get the same position at a new company. :frown:

need the money but I'm not getting paid **** at the moment. just gotta keep grinding.

i need tips on writing a cover letter for a cell phone store

Hi, my name is Peter. I was excited to see *insert position name here * position become available at T-Mobile. I have a high level of respect for your company, as I feel it has some of the best smartphone selection in a highly competitive market.i feel I would be best suited for the position because I am a very social person and have interacted with customers daily in a retail environment. I feel that my skills will help your store excel in sales while maintain ing a professional and organized work environment, I love working in a fast paced environment where I have to meet quotas and deal with a lot of customers in one day. I feel that this type of environment motivates and challenges me.

Thank you for your consideration, if you need to contact me feel free to call: 1310INEEDTHISJOB

**i followed a format like this after making my Craigslist thread , and it helped me get a call back. But I. General I read to focus on 3 things:
1. Focus on how your skills can help the company, not how the company can help you.
2. Bring something personal in the cover letter (talk good about the company why u like them. Etc)
3. Don't explicitly talk about your experience, that's why the resume is there. Don't just give a summary of experience day how your experience would be good for the company .

I'm no expert by any means. But after I switched to this format I started getting call backs...

How'd the interview go?

Qurstion for you guys, I have an interview this Friday and want to get a decent slim fit suit because all the suits I own right now are chopper suit status. Where can I go? I was gonna check out Macys and Mens Warehouse but any other suggestions are greatly apprecaited.

I barely bought my first suit 2 weeks ago so my advice is pretty limited. But I suggest getting a off the rack at Macy's and try to used every discount you can find.  If you see a discount online (like right now there are 40% discounts online for suits)... take your phone with you and show them the discount.  Usually the store will also have a discount and they will both stack.

If you don't know your size you could try Mens Warehouse first to get a generally idea but I think they'll really push for you to buy.  But honestly I don't think you'll have a hard time figuring out your jacket size.. at Macy's you can just try on your own jackets and ask the workers if its a good fit.

I'd would get a dark navy or dark grey suit... I personally got a dark grey suit, light blue undershirt and dark blue tie... I could post pics if you think that'll help.

From a quick read this sounds good. Make sure its formatted correctly.

My girl got hired one time with a group interview.

My advice is to be bold bro... take a xanax, have no fear, and say/do whatever it takes to get the job.

Where you located? Any idea what you want to do or consider going back to school for your Bachelor in CJ or another discipline?

The feel of spending thousands of dollars on education only to graduate and not be reimbursed with a good paying job is the worst. Going on 5 years of that feel :smh:
