Bought em off a friend for $200. They'd been worn 10-15 times but I inspected them and the only imperfections were a small crease on the toe box and the Nike logo on the inside had started to rub off. But I figured for $200 those weren't big gripes.

Sold my 2013 pair for $475 a couple weeks back. I still have my 2001 pair though.

 

Same, release week. Bought 3 pair. Wore one immediately, sold the second for $500, and will sell the third in a few years.

i think 350-425 is what ive seen recently

 

This release was THE LAST shoe I will ever camp for. Too old to be doing that

But getting these for retail was beyond worth it. But the fact that I've only worn these once shows how ridiculous I am

 

this is my same reasoning to pay pre-order prices. I did an hourly breakdown  of standing in line (hourly earned income +  shoes at retail) and more times than not, pre-ordering seems like the cost-effective way to go. 

There are factors that arent even figured into this calculation:gas, stress, waiting, lack of productivity come to mind
