Jordan Retro 1 High "Shattered Backboard"

I mean as long as the person stored them properly and didn’t live in a super high humidity location they should be fine.

1s tend to be some of the most durable AJs made IMO, some call them “indestructible” and the tend to look great once they get worn in and eventually beat up.

I’ve seen a few StockX horror stories on here from others but every pair I’ve ever bought on of any AJ model on there as been perfectly fine. in theory they have someone examining the shoes before they put that “authenticated” green tag on it and ship it to you.

You should be good

Looking to cop a pair of these. Anything to look out for? Is 3 years too old and do I risk them falling apart?

3 years is nothing, definitely not too old I'll consider that recent. I bought a few past Jordan retros that are 6-7 years old and rocked it with no problem. I know a few people who still wear some 07-09' pairs.

Got them today. Just as awesome as I thought they’d be. My 5 yo boy was so happy to see them. He asked if he could have them when he’s old enough to fit. Lol

I bought a pair off of eBay last week and I got them last week. I was very skeptical and worried about buying on eBay but the shoes are legit and I’m happy to have them in my collection. I see where a pair in my size (10) sold on Stock X for $713 the other day. I initially bought a pair off of Stock X for $760 but they failed verification so I got a refund. I’m not sure what was wrong with them but I’m glad they caught it. I was able to save some money taking a leap of faith on eBay but it’s not something I will do often

What's up peeps?
I'm new here and have been looking everywhere for some help on this topic until a friend of mine suggested I check here.

I purchased a second pair of these from GOAT last year and everything seems to match up perfectly with my original pair purchased on Nike at the release. Recently, while removing the glitter off of all of my stored Jordan 1s, I came across my GOAT pair and noticed that the manufacturing date is dated 2/26/15 on the inner sz tag while my original Nike pair has 3/16/16. Other than that, as I mentioned before, the shoes match perfectly down to the smell and quality of the leather and all. Nothing is physically off in comparison. Only the date on the sz tag has me worried that I may have fakes. Does anyone here have a pair with this 2/26 date? Appreciate the help guys and I apologize if this was addressed before.

I know you're new, so no, that isn't a worry.

You do know the entire production run isn't made in the same exact date frames right? Even shoes in the same box can have different dates. Think of how many of these are out there.

I know and understand what you're saying. Mainly things like this happen when there is an early release before the original or a re-launch is made down the road after the initial release. But I never heard of such things happening with the SBB release. I have asked most my friends, sneaker groups with people who have these shoes and no one has that 2/26 date on their pairs so far so you could understand why I'm a little freaked out. GOAT may have sold me a fake and due to so much time passing before I've noticed it...I'm stuck with them.

Finally caved in and picked up a pair off stock x last night - size 10 for $860. No shipping fee on this one for me, so straight up $860. Crazy to think that might be a "steal"

Hi guys- can I get a legit check please? Thanks
