Famous NY-based artist/animator. He had a lot of collabs in the past including designing Kanye's "808s & Heartbreak" album cover and Clipse's "Till The Casket Drops" album cover. He is probably best known for his sculptures though.

IMHO, the pic posted looks nothing like Cool Grey.

Looks more like black or charcoal grey

That pic of the upper looks like a sample for the Royalty 4s.

that's the shoe the kaws bottom was on. like @StaffSgtDignam  said, it might be a royalty sample used for testing. or the fake factories did some testing of their own lol

99.9% of us will take the L. Used to be a huge vinyl toy collector and had a nice KAWS collection. Sold all my figures though because it was way too expensive of an habit (even more expensive than sneakers). Case in point, each of my figures averaged about $400-$500 on the secondary market at the time (and had I kept them they'd be even more now). That's about 3-4 pairs of sneakers per figure, lol. Sold every single one to fund more sneakers. 

Either way, I'm curious to see what they cook up. This is exciting news for sure.
