Reverse jumpman hasn't stopped me from purchasing in the past but my patience is starting to dwindle. If JB/nike is fixing the stitching and jumpan fingers they can turn it the man around. I didn't buy that "88" retro. Wheres he nike on the sole? I'm just tired of being teased. I think this is last time I'll say this because all the genuine NT members who read threads know this nonsense and know our worthless opinions. Anyways don't want to derail the thread but nike still has a lot to accomplish if they want to impress with the remastered thing. The iridescent material does concerns me but who knows what they will look like. Cant wait to see the samples.
Two ways to look at this shoe.. it can be viewed as an infrared 11 mid, or a mix of breds and space jams.
why would they do that when those garbage gammas sold and resold for 300+ (I think? I never actually look at the resale market for anything since I never use it). they KNOW the space jams will sell so they might as well wait at least another year to sell some new retro+ at a lower price. they know they can easily get 250+ for the space jams so they are in no rush to break them out again. I know everyone expects the space jams but I think they will do like the legend blues and wait at least this year if not 2 years to drop them. would not be surprised at all if those red 11s come out first if they aren't coming this year.

I don't really care too much about the bottom but I see his point. It's always half-assed with JB but I think it's a calculated move. Make the shoe 75% original only to release it a few years later with another slight modification and people will re-buy it. FYI: The photo is a photoshop. Didn't go thru the entire thread but apparently two XI's will release: one Space Jam-esque model with hits of red and leather upper and a iridescent model.
A good 72-10 idea would be the white/red mid XI with hits of black like how the bulls wore white based shoes in the regular season.....and then switched to a black base for the playoffs.
Yep. These with black pods and black jumpman on the tongue strip. The 72-10 was a regular season record, so why not a regular season shoe with a white base. Hell. This is one time I will support a pack with this white/red model and a black/red model as the images are floating for $500. Call it the 72-10 commemorative pack.
It was cleared up and said that it'll be one XI, it'll have red hits and iridescent on the same shoe.
I hate that we talk about a shoe 10 months before release. Days/weeks before we even get an image. Patience is an art long ago lost in the sneaker community.
