Just came across THIS in the Kobe IX Thread...

Hyperfuse Upper, bruh? And a Visible Air Pocket?.... These sound like run-of-the-mill KD's.

You can't go from a Classic like the Kobe 8 w/ Engineered Mesh and a polarizing sneaker like the Kobe 9 w/ Flyknit... just to go back to using Hyperfuse.

From the description these sound TURRIBLE, but I hope I'm Wrong. It's a good thing there will be official pics so I don't have to judge simply by the written attributes.

yep.. hyperfuse is a big step backwards. I don't care if the X's design is out of the world. hyperfuse is a downgrade in terms of performance (for my feet at least).

 

but but but.. the kobe 9 has fuse material under the flynit

I doubt they would take a step backward, they've been trying to break new ground with these lines.

 

Nike basketball should go on a lockout this year and just refresh themselves with new ideas for 2016.

I wasn't a fan of the IX aesthetically or otherwise. I think the idea was gimmicky, as many others are saying.

I want something in line with the V or 8, my two favorite models.

 

Can't wait till these drop kobe has been consistently dropping the best shoes to hoop in since the 4s

IMO, the Kobe IX are the best looking Kobes ever.

 

I really do hope these are Venomenon 5s. These are the best Venomenons though..I'd ball in these.
