Personally, I would go with sushi because it's my favorite food. But if you've never tried Korean BBQ you should try it.

Sushi can get out of hand if it's the real good stuff and you might still be hungry after.

If we're talking about the kinda Korean barbecue where you cook it yourself then that's awesome. Lost in Translation was wrong for dissing it.

But regular take out Korean barbecue is also good for a relatively cheap fix. Plus you get more vegetables and less carbs.

the people I went with wanted to get some sushi so I got outnumbered but the sushi was good

Don't eat sushi at any Korean Restaurant. But I prefer sushi on lazy nights and korean bbq when I feel like I wanna cook.
