Come on Iron Man, really?

How can you discredit either of the 2, last teams remaining after 100 somewhat games, how can you say none deserve to be here?

 

Actually I am a basketball fan my man and hate stans more than any team. A majority of the herbs with Lakers sigs don't know @%@% about basketball. Frontrunning always runs rampant with teams on top and it's no different here.Notice every cupcake team the Lakers faced this decade and won the title against.Now look at teams they met in the post season that actually played defense and what were the results? San Antonio exposed you in 03, Detroit exposed your squadin 04 and Boston raped your squad last year. All I am saying is that if you play hard on both ends with heart and win the chip, my hat goes off to you. Mypops is the biggest Lakers fan, he and I were talking the other day and he said when the Lakers win the title this year, they will be the worst Lakers team toever win the chip. I actually was shocked he would say that, guess some Lakers fans actually do know something about basketball.

I'm not really fond of any of the Lakers really, honestly. I acknowledge Kobe is great though, as much as it pains me to say it.

I just want to see NT explode if they blow a 3-1 lead.

 

I don't get this at all really.

Was rhat no heart last night? No heart winning a road playoff game in every series they've played this year? No heart after getting embarrassed last yearand coming in with a target on their back, winning the conference by 11 games, not once losing two in a row in the playoffs, not one time losing 3 times in arow during the season, taking everyone's best punch and still being right here on the verge? That's no heart? I dunno about that.

 

Certainly not the most fundamentally precise team in Lakers history to make it here, but they are still playing basketball.
What do you want from them?

No heart? Did you even watch the game last night? A team with no heart would have handed the game on a silver platter.

Now, as far as heart vs. talent, there should be a separate discussion about that in it's own, because people can make a case for each all day.

Eh, not too fond of the Lakers. But if they could somehow win w/o D. Fish getting a ring I'd be good. I despise that man and I've never seen him aday in my life.

But you say Lakers don't have any heart, they don't play both ends of the game. But how did they manage to get this far?

I see that you're crediting Boston from last year (they deserved it)... but didn't they play all 3 series before Lakers to 7? A team that clearly hadthe best record and better team, they were troubled by .500 teams.

Lakers this year beat Boston AND Cleveland (at their home), though they lost both to Orlando, YET in this series they are up 3-1.

Another question. IF Lakers win the chip, does your hat go off to them?

 

The hate is thick for the Lakers, but that's what you should expect when your team is winning.

Especially the way we have. I'm not going to lie, the team is cocky and complacent at times.

I think we finally saw the "real" Lakers in these finals.

I don't know what's worse, a Laker hater who don't know jack about basketball and only hates because it's a fad or Laker bandwagon fans.

The only Laker hater I'll give props to is Zodogg. Dude may OD on the hate but he'll ride with his Suns to death unless Kobe signs with the Suns.Unlike these haters who flip flop with squads in regards to whomever the Lakers are playing against. That's like some ex-girlfriend type of mentalityrollin' with other dudes just to hate on they ex-man.

I understand you hate the Lakers because of the obnoxious and ******ed bandwagon fairweather fans, but you getting basketball knowledge twisted just becauseyour dad said this is the worst Laker team to win a chip. They're not showtime. They're not the Shaq 3-peat team. But these dudes are on the verge ofwinning a chip. And outside of the Refs blowing calls on both sides of the ball, both teams are playing some damn good basketball.

I just don't see how people can discredit a team who has made it to the Finals, finals people, and are on the verge of winning their 15 title as afranchise. I just don't see it. I understand people hate because of some of the bandwagon fans, but blame those fans, not the damn franchise.

 

I really think the Sports & Training forum will never be the same when or if the Lakers do win the Finals. Kobe haters are down to their last straw withthe whole "Kobe cant win a Championship without Shaq" theory and if that is proven wrong then it goes into the trash can along with their "Kobecants: a) lead a team to the playoffs b) lead a team out the first round c)win a scoring title d)win an MVP e) make his teammates better" etc etc.

All they will have is their hate for his facial expressions, his hairline, his wife & kids and "fakeness" which if thats all you have then youreaching out of desperation and are judging on non basketball related stuff which belongs on gossip websites or beauty parlors.

Sorry haters. I do feel you pain when I see booths at every corner selling bootleg Laker merchandise and suddenly hear everyone around me talking about myLaker when just last yeard they didnt know they existed.
But then its been 7 long years and I vowed to cherish even more if they did get back to their championship ways.

 

I really don't want to listen to these fake *** laker fans all summer, let's go ORLANDO!!!! If the lakers do win, I hope Dwight wins MVP haha. Stupid *** ron jeremy needs to learn how to coach in crunch time...

I was an avid Laker fan up until it became Kobe's team because I've never liked Kobe. Still don't, although I admit he's the most skilledbasketball player there is right now. So, I have mixed feelings about the Lakers getting this title. At the end of the day, I'm rooting for them to win,but its in spite of Kobe. The main reason I'm pulling for the Lakers is probably Odom. I think he's basically a good dude who has been through somereally tough times, so I'd like to see him get a ring.
