**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Trading who?

WE HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO SIGN HIM OUTRIGHT! LEBRON IS AN UNRESTRICTED FA!
he doesnt mean a trade per say
he means having randle locked in for 4 years as opposed to lebron only willing to sign 1+ 1 deals with player options. basically what hes been doing in cleveland since he went back...you know holding them hostage and running up their money

LeBron will have contingencies if he signs here ie make this trade for player X like he did with Love and Bosh

He’ll be GM player coach

If we focus on Bron/Kawhi, and it costs us Randle (and we don't get Bron or Kawhi) there will be some major problems.

Why can't these guys just add George, keep Randle, and let the core develop? Why do they insist on chasing a 34 year old and a guy that missed an entire season (that will cost us multiple pieces? How does that sound smart? :smh:
because it wouldnt be the laker way unless we get rejected every single summer by some big free agents

Take it for what it's worth...but according to Colin Cowherd's "sources", Magic and Pelinka have made it clear to LeBron's ppl that he won't be running the show here the way he does in Cleveland. He will be the star, but they are very confident in the young guys.

Cowherd said Ben Simmons is a top 5 player in the league yesterday. I don't trust his "sources".

Love the comradery with the young guys.

Honestly, this is my only beef with bringing Lebron in. Not his age or the fact he may or may not want to play GM, its the fact that he changes the locker room dynamic. It's pretty well known that playing on and Lebron James team is stressful and his teams have alot of drama surrounding them. Everything from Kevin Love's panic attacks, to Ty Lue's health issues to RJ Smith tossing soup, etc. It's pretty well known that the Cavs hate one another.

Is that worth not getting Lebron? No

Apparently, Jud was the player development coach for Zu and Nance.

I think we can do a lot better if that was his main contribution.
Wth Shouldn’t that job have been for a actually Big Man?

Wth is 6-6 Jud gonna teach a 7 footer
