My concern was the tongue. These are supposedly from Nike.com. It seems that the tongue from Nike.com doesn’t stick up as high as those from retailed stores. Is this a correct assumption?

youre fine. if the tongue doesnt stick up on this pair then its just this pair or shoe. Not every pair from nike.com
its probably just a manufacture flaw
