These look ok imo. Toe caps, the entire heel area, the box label and the side profile. I’d like to see more to be sure. Can you upload a close, clear pic of the carbon fiber along with a pic of the outsoles, a pic of the tongue tag that’s on the front and the one on the top back of the tongue and a pic of the footbed while the insoles are removed ?

Will do tonight. Thank you.

Sounds good man and you’re welcome. I think you’re good but I like to be positive if possible. Especially when it’s for someone else.

Thanks again.

What are the typical signs of a good rep that’s close to authentic? I looked online but the pics they use for comparisons aren’t that clear.
Yeah that or they use a rep that’s so bad that anyone could see that it’s clearly fake.

One of the biggest that I see is the carbon fiber. Although some fakes have it down, a lot don’t and it’ll look like plastic and has a pattern that’s too perfect as far as the shape of the squares. You also need to familiarize yourself with the pattern of the CF on each different release. If you look at the CF on the bred 11 you’ll see it’s a different pattern or look between the 2008’s, 2012’s and 2019’s.

Another thing you look at is the tongue tags and the way the letters are stitched on the front “ Jordan jumpman “ tag and the way the stitching is on the back tag. Getting familiar with the footbed and the way it looks on an authentic pair is helpful as well. Overall shape, thickness of the laces and the jumpman silhouette on the heel area along with the 23 or 45 on the sock liner of the heel area. How thin it is or isn’t and placement. There are a few other areas I look at but it gets pretty involved. The more you see a shoe the easier it gets to pick out things that may be wrong. Box and box label is another area I always look at. Even the perforated lines on the box label can be an indication of a fake. Nike always has a nice, clean and evenly spaced perforated line. The metal pull hole grommet on the space jam box is another thing I’ll look at. Sometimes reps get that wrong as well.

There’s a lot to learn and seeing the same shoe over and over helps a ton. I learned how to legit check by lurking on this website for the better part of the year. I googled everything I could and watched YouTube videos. I did that for a long time before I felt confident in helping others. I specifically focus on the Jordan retros that I personally like to collect and I’m doing that I saw the same silhouette’s over and over which like I mentioned, helps a lot in easily picking out flaws when they’re present on a shoe.

Awesome info. I noticed some boxes have the sz on the box label in a slightly different spot. Like shifted to the left or right and almost different for. That normal?
You talking the same shoe and year it released ? If it’s the same shoe then no, that shouldn’t be the case. I mean, they’ve changed the layout or design as far as box labels over the years and the location has slightly changed but other than that the size should be in the exact same spot every time. Fonts is another thing to take note of because reps sometimes get that wrong too. The fonts on the size tags and box labels.

I should mention that back in 2018 when they released the concord 11 I purchased two pair, both from authorized retail locations and the font they used for the size was a different font. They also used multiple factories to produce that shoe due to the fact that they produced a ton of them that year. But, even though it was a different font, the numbers were still in the same place on the label.

This label is slightly different than mine.

Yea the font. Just wondering if that’s normal cause of where they are produced.
Yeah I believe it is brother. When I copped those 2 pair back when they dropped in 2018 ( one pair from Eastbay & one from Finishline ) one of the 1st things I noticed was the font was different on both boxes. Specifically the zero (I’m a 10.5). The other thing that stood out was the outsoles on each pair looked different. One was more blue than the other. I assumed they were both authentic due to being purchased from retail locations. I sold one pair on GOAT and it passed their authentication process which was a good sign. The other pair will never leave my collection.
