I recently got these and everything checked out to me besides the number on the size tag. Its only the number 9 repeated, are these fake or is it just an insane coincidence

I did some digging, and apparently the 9999999 means promo sample pairs...

This is crazy to me, it was a very vague post and the link was outdated so I couldn’t read it all
