Hi, folks. For your consideration I have this pair of gently worn Chicago 1s that could use a legit checking. If these aren't the real deal, try not to laugh at me; I'm just a man in my 30s trying to hold on to my youth. I looked at every youtube video and legit check page I could find before buying these and have learned enough to spot the more embarrassing fakes but upon closer inspection of these

They are fake.
There are clearly visible pen lines on the suede of the right shoe, some near the red leather of the lace holes, those come from some of the replica factories.
I would suggest that you move on from buying this colorway or you will very likely get scammed. If you really want them then buy them from StockX or Goat directly, Goat has a used section. If you want hyped sneakers then you will be able to buy OW UNC's for less or get Travis Scott 1's, but buy from StockX or Goat if you can.

And I agree, buying this colorway from anywhere other than a museum seems too problematic.
