Just because it was about two gay guys doesn't mean it was a phenomenal movie. Grow up.

Are we basing this in terms of aesthetics or entertainment value?

I can't really think of any films right now, but if we're talking entertainment value Anchorman and Step Brothers are near the top of my list.

Avatar is easily the best movie in the past 5 years and maybe even for the next couple years.

As always with Top 10 of the Decade lists, most of you only post movies from recent memory, .. last 4 years really. Many of you have '09 movies as 3 to 4of your picks! Im sorry, but 2009 was one of the worst years for movies in the 2000s. Okay I gotta drum some up.

Being John Malkovich
Unbreakable
The Incredibles
Almost Famous
The Royal Tenenbaums
Memento
Borat
Lost in Translation
Juno
Sideways
Signs
A.I.
The Dark Knight
Finding Nemo
Children of Men
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Knocked Up
Cloverfield
Traffic.

Sorry, not a fan of any of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Departed, I know I should put City of God but that's predictable, and I hated No Country forOld Men.
