Liam Neesons smh

Imagine if a a gay dude molested a kid and someone said that they went out looking for a gay dude, any gay dude. I went to the gay part of town with a weapon looking for someone.

Imagine the reaction.

Yet, some people want us to just consider it was a long time ago.

The reaction would be the same unless that person has those same views
It’s like some people would rather accept that a person is still racist after all these years
As if personal growth isn’t a thing

Damn, gotta cancel Liam Nelson now.

Real shame rape is such a frequent and prevalent act.

Just as bad as racism being so commonplace

I agree with the sentiment in this video.

you gotta include all the factors though...
It's not A kid. It's YOUR kid.
You live in a town where seeing gay people is a rare thing. (he never found one)
You also are hoping said gay person provokes you to initiate the altercation.

The ability to "other-ize" a group of people is entirely made possible by fear and a lack of exposure to those people. We have the internet now and we are able to see all kinds of people in many different lights. So to "other-ize" a group is a lot harder now. But it's still human nature.

Do you think that little tribe on the island with no human contact is concerned about political correctness? No, they obviously had an experience collectively that told them that anything that comes to the island and isnt like them must be killed.

everyone should be a little upset but it's overboard to sensationalize this. we lied about WMD's to go to war based on this same mentality. We watch and ENJOY movies with revenge plots all the time. Taken is written like this. John wick is pretty much this. We don't confirm if the russians or albanians in those warehouses werent just there earning a security paycheck. We assume everyone not like the protagonist is a criminal and deserves to die. Liam Neeson revealed an experience he had in the past that he "regrets" and we should extend a hand to pull him up from that dark place of shame. We empower right wing racist people so much when we blackball and silence them because then they rally others to a "victim" call and everyone who wants to blame their issues on people of color gets to say look they are denying our freedom and forcing ideology on us.

You kinda have the answer in your own post. It's black people that felt like him before but probably didn't say it so that's why they giving him a pass. You're speaking for yourself on the well I never thought that way. As you can see from him and I'm sure other people too they have thought this way and that's why they aren't as hard as you want them to be.
there's a difference between feeling like this though and walking around with a bat for a week

That's cool and I don't really disagree but it doesn't really change what I was posting on.

We do have the internet and all but being realistic most of us still mainly hang around others like us. Look at the average person social media to see who they are around can tell you that. That's why people still do the amount of lazy stereotyping they do now. They might see other groups but actually interacting with all these different groups not really.

Despite Nasheed being a shady and seedy person, this is 100% facts.

It is not a coincidence at all that a lot of media outlets place black puppets on TV. These cornballs job is to be a voice to white people that don't see them as threats, and be used to confuse on-the-fence blacks. Jason Whitlock on FS1 (or ESPN, don't remember), Brodus Clay/George Murdoch on Fox News (dude is a super ****), Ben Carson (dude totally forgot where he came from), and pretty much every Trump backer that pops up on Fox News and CNN are examples. There's several others, but those are some of the biggest ones. They are a cancer to society and give white people an excuse to do what they do and think how they think.

Marky Mark attacks black children with rocks on 2 different occasions just because they're black and 2 years later commits another hate crime against a different race but he's cool. Wow

Is forgiveness not an option on hate crimes?

No matter how long it's been?
