"LIFE" APPRECIATION vol Discovery Channel

So I'm watching the documentary "Life" and they are showing an octopus that has 100,000 fertilized eggs giving birth. And I wonder.
How in the world do they capture some of this? The level of photography they display is simply amazing
 
Co-sign on the deep man voice but the fact that they get these shots is amazing. This has been in the works for 4 years I think. When I was younger i would watch stuff like this and take notes like a lil nerd

the whole show is just breathtaking. not only do they have the most interesting stories on the animals, but how the heck do they get some of these shots....

this debuted in november in the UK with narration by david attenborough. the UK blu-ray's out, but it won't work for US blu-ray players due to some conversion thing.

JC lizard can run up to 100ft on top of water

or the Gecko has waterproof skin

attenborough and a UK debut makes me think this is a BBC thing? (i dont have cable so i cant watch right now)
if so ill definitely look out for this.... 'planet earth' was incredible, just watched a 6-part BBC documentary on india as well which was stunning
