Got mine today...pics aren't the greatest, but these look a lot better in person than in pics. Was a little surprised by the slightly off center lacing system similar to the Gel Kayano's, but the fit and feel of these if much better than the 2s, IMO and I think they look a lot better. I'm hoping they do a better job with the colorways on this version. Would love to see more white based colorways, or contrasting laces to make them pop a little more.

It looks like there is a swoosh there, but if you were holding the shoe in your hand, you couldn't see it. I can kind of feel it through the mesh. Might be some kind of 3M type thing going on underneath there but I'm not sure. The one thing I don't like is that long flywire. Normally I don't lace up my shoes all the way, but on these it kind of forces you to, otherwise you'll leave the flywire dangling on the sides.
I'm actually debating returning them...I'm not sure I like the solid gray upper and laces. It's much darker than I thought. Maybe using volt flywire all the way up or volt laces would have made these look better. I'm gonna try to find some volt or maybe white laces to try in these before returning them. I just like to see a little contrast instead of a solid dark color. I think this shoe has tons of potential in the right colorways.
The comfort is definitely insane though. If I don't keep these, I'll definitely plan on getting a couple of pairs later depending on colorways. I wish Nike would id these but I doubt it. I'm sure these will hit the outlets soon enough, just like the first 2 versions so they will be able to be had pretty cheap.

Just on comfort alone, it's worth picking up a pair and I'm sure they will end up at outlets. My main gripe is that Nike has done poorly on the colorways in the entire Lunareclipse series so far. I just don't understand why they have moved away from white-based shoes. I'm not a huge fan of gray shoes. If you replaced the gray in the pair I got with black, maybe with white or volt flywire and laces they would look a lot better. The volt, light volt, and teal lunar part of the shoe looks really good though.

I don't know why Nike has moved away from white-based shoes but I have a few thoughts. One, the volt (and other neon colors) lunar sole doesn't quite have the contrast with a white upper that it does with a grey or black upper. Two, and more functionally, white-based shoes tend to show dirt faster than grey shoes do. You know, if you actually wear them for running.

Very good points. Also, from a broader fashion standpoint, I feel white-based shoes are kind of out. I'm sure that will come back again, but at the moment, it's about color.

these new lunar 3's are horrible , 1 is an OG CLASSIC the 2's are ok these with exposed fly wire gross why would they have them out looks goofy tht there using fly wire like that exposed on most of the line up now for lunar's WTF very uncreative , looking for 2's at outlets now ,i know the 1's are mostly done

Who the hell wants a white-based upper on a running shoe?? Thats the worst possible colorway unless you are walking around in a mall. Dark is the way to go because you know if you actually RUN in RUNNING shoe, the upper gets beat up constantly.

Agreed. This is why I never buy any White based shoes because I want to maintain them.
The OG Eclipse in the OG cw was an all around EXCELLENT running shoe! The cw was awesome, they were easy to maintain, they racked up over 1,100 miles for me (one pair), and the bottomless carrier felt cushioned/springy with each stride. Man, I really can't find any thing wrong with them. I'm looking for a third pair now (for under $80 haha)

that dark grey cw is nice...but i wouldnt buy them anywhere close to that price
