They could have just grabbed him, likely one guy would be enough. He didn't seem like he was threatening the cops, especially in walking away. They should make you have to tase yourself in order to own a taser like they do with mace.

The staff at the airport should apologize for this stuff too. From what I've seen on the news up here, the story goes something like this: - mom tells her son she'll pick him up at the airport, and that he should wait for her at the luggage carousel - mom doesn't realize that the carousel is actually beyond a security checkpoint - mom can't get past the checkpoint - mom asks airport staff if they can help her look for her son, or if they can go beyond the checkpoint and tell him to come outside - airport staff, being the lazy bums they are, don't respond This whole thing could have been prevented if the staff had helped her locate her son. And at the authorities for not even attempting to get a translator.
