All I take away from this thread is that most of the people on NT have no idea what an actual financial struggle is. Granted the dude in the article is an idiot, but it's not that hard to be 30 with only $2600 in life savings even if you work your *** off and spend you money wisely. **** happens, and **** is usually expensive.

One man's idiocracy is another man's come up.
I hope the carnival game operator was able to pay off some debt, and maybe even buy his wife something nice.

I need to get in the Carni game business if there's dummies like this walking around. Too easy.

Found it funny how the owner guy said, "Not that I know of", when asked about it being rigged. Smooth talking.

I am single with a well paying job so it's very easy for me to save. I make double of what both of my parents make combined so I know the struggle of having no savings. I grew up in that.

It's nice to know that some of you here don't look down on others just because they don't have money. Props to the ones who actually understand how one can only have $2600 in savings.

So much I am better than though in here.

You missed my point. Did I say how much I make? No. I was making a point to say that even though I am well off now I know the struggles of having no extra income. I grew up missing out on a lot of things that I would liked to have had but my parents could never afford it. They are doing better for themselves now but they still don't have very much extra money.

You read it wrong. Stop looking for an argument to prove yourself right.

    1. looking for an argument? I said your post is contradicting, which it is, and still is, since you made an argument to prove yourself right.
    2. you could have left the part off about how you double your parents and your well off and still said the same thing
face it you wanted to add how well you are, i understand i have some family and friends like this too

I had no intentions of making myself look good. I worded it poorly.

I am not an arrogant or prideful person, I don't boast and am very respectful to others.

People looking to jump on anything someone says is why I don't post much in here.
