Margarita Levieva (born February 9, 1980) [sup]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margarita_Levieva#cite_note-birthyear-0[/sup]is a Russian-American actress. Born in the Soviet Union, she was a professional gymnast[sup]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margarita_Levieva#cite_note-1[/sup] before going on to star in the films The Invisible and Adventureland.

Levieva, a Russian Jew,[sup]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margarita_Levieva#cite_note-ref1-2[/sup] was born in Leningrad, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation). At the age of three, she began the rigorous training program of a competitive gymnast.[sup]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margarita_Levieva#cite_note-ref1-2[/sup] As a member of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics Olympic team, Levieva continued to train for the next 13 years, winning competitions in Russia and eventually going on to compete in the United States.

When she was 11, Levieva's mother moved her and her twin brother to Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn in New York City.[sup]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margarita_Levieva#cite_note-ref1-2[/sup] She attended high school in Secaucus, New Jersey.
