Too soon..

How long of a time gap do you thing will pass in the MCU between the 2 movies?

Will it be close to real time? So like a year. Or do they pick right back up. I’m just wondering if they’re gonna be stuck on Titan for a year or if Captain Marvel pulls up quickly.

If Tony has another year to upgrade
I have the same question too. Man, the panic and chaos that’s happening on earth and everywhere else in the universe has to be shown in the next film to build off what happened at the end of the IW.

Because it literally happened within seconds of the thing you're attempting to knock

It's why I also assumed you were talking about rocket in this same damn movie

They literally had to make the most of a handful of seconds each and every one of them.. okoye was able to convey a hell of lot with her moment too

Go back to admiring chris Evans looks and sit small on this one

Yeah and so did half of the Guardians on Titan, it was obvious the punchline was Peters death, THAT was the dagger that would trigger the waterworks, I’m glad it worked for many, it didn’t for me....mostly because I wasn’t sold on RDJs performance.

I don’t even think they showed Caps face as Bucky faded....joint was hella quick, Okoye’s reaction was more confused/fear than anything, no one else fading was supposed to drive this thing home like Holland’s, hence I believe he was the last one to fade...

I get it, ya don’t have to tell me why Parker is freaking the **** out in fear, he def sold that....like I said before, in movies when I watch someone die I’m not touched by the person that’s dying, I’m often touched by the ones watching them die or mourning....their performance is what sells the scene to me, their reaction when they find out they lost a loved one, seeing someone beg for their life doesn’t really connect with me for some reason...reason I bring up that Gwen death scene, I wasn’t heartbroken to see Gwen die, I was heartbroken to see Garfield’s Peter reaction to it and even more so how depressed he was after with him at the cementary through all the seasons, or when he watched uncle Ben die, etc.

now I need to watch the movie again and watch stark in that scene

I mean if Drax the Destroyer can say Thor is like a pirate had a baby with an angel, I don’t feel insecure saying Cap with a beard is Bae

You mean what drax said in a movie released couple days ago?

So what's your excuse for the lustful eyes before that?

I don’t know maybe it was too cliched of a death scene, like “hold me, I don’t wanna dieee” pair that up with the fact I know is not permanent and I’m totally indifirent to it...
I see your point.

But it got to me because Peter became the new kid in the MCU that I got to appreciate and like him from Homecoming. Add to the fact Tony basically became his mentor/father figure, to see that happen to a kid who who was always in his ear. That was tough.

But I agree with some of you, it would have been good to see Tony lose it at that moment.

Allllls I’m sayinggg....perhaps seeing Tony break would have pushed me over and solidified Holland’s performance like it should have, but if Tony came off a bit indifirent suppressing his feelings, why should I be touched?...lol

Is Captain Marvel impervious to The Snap? For all Fury knows, she doesn't exist anymore
She's not but if she's not even in this universe it wouldn't effect her.

And when I think about it even in the comics the snap wiping out half the universe was never clear on pocket dimensions, underworlds, demon dimensions, etc.

It can be very likely that Captain Marvel ends with her sort of sacrificing herself by going in to some dimension to keep something at bay, "keep a door locked", or for her own good.

We know her movie adapts the Kree/Skrull war but they can easily throw a wrench in there like a celestial showing up or an infinity stone or some cosmic entity in the 3rd act which forces her hand.

Fury's little device probably isn't something that directly contacts her. That would be absurd. Maybe a signal to some satellite to contact the Kree to somehow contact her.

Why do I need an excuse? :nerd:

Good question.. is it an NY thing?

Is that why your team won't let OBJ enjoy dancing but wanna defend the wife beating kicker?

I mean it's 2018, most of us are ok with cap's "relationship" with Bucky.. and you looking at chris Evans with:

Your preordering has nothing to do with the movie being incredible.
My *** preorder the blu way to get the limited iron man funko. Can’t wait.

I wish marvel release a movie/show on the mcu universe after the snap. Like celestial reactions, mutants, etc. maybe they’ll touch on it during AoS. Other galaxy armies teaming up to go after thanos and failing. Anyone know if there is a comic series on this?

3rd viewing. Imax this time with a friend. 1st time was alone. 2nd time was with my lil cousin.

Packed theater. Applause again for Thors entrance to Wakanda.

I wonder if Thor rainbows himself to Titan to get whos there.

2 Avengers had infinity stones and aint eem use them to attack Thanos.

Thanos' planet had too many people and not enough resources to go around. He suggested to kill half the planet - randomly - so that they wouldn't use up all their resources. They called him a madman, exiled him from the planet. When he returned the planet was dead. After that he was obsessed with killing to save resources. Thanos is a socialist and an environmentalist.

I'm dying at Thanos is a socialist and an environmentalist

It’s 2018 and men still afraid to say another man is handsome?...I mean are you THAT insecure you can’t admit Evans is a good looking man? Is Hemsworth? Pitt? Etc not all good looking men? Does that make me sus? Or are you upset RDJ doesn’t have the same appeal? :nerd:

So basically

Thor and the Storm Breaker > Thanos

Black Widow > everyone

I see why people would criticize the end. None of it matters cuz you know that in the end, Thanos will lose and the Avengers will win.

Captain Marvel will be super OP and basically wash Thanos even with the guantlet.

Still a great damned movie.

Yea.. I'm going judge an actor (or actress) by his (or her) skill

Not sure why their looks are relevant.. just odd that you're picking sides based on looks rather than substance
