Persoral favorite album of mine, theme, production, overall aesthetic etc..Anyone else familiar?
Masta Ace is criminally under appreciated
I'm personally more of a Slaughtahouse fan. Sittin' on Chrome is a classic, though.
I've been a huge fan of Ace since A Long Hot Summer and went back and found everything I had missed up until them. He's a real OG.
36 mafia sampled this if im correct
A Long Hot Summer
Kinda the precursor to what A$AP and them do now.
This was heavy on the Miami bass sound even the album cover. "Born To Roll" sounds like a Dogg Pound record.
My older bro LOVED "INC Ride", played it so much it ended up becoming my fav.
Wonder what ever happened to my CD.
I think outta all of masts ace's records this one had the most appeal. And gets the most regular play from me. It's relatable
INC Ride is still one of my favorite records from back in the day.
That Isley Brothers sample.
When born to roll come on in my shuffle>>
Original 1995 pressings of this albums going for just under a bean now too. I might cop just to have at the crib. Nice conversation piece
Flow/Lyrics, Ace was NICE
The 'oes in that video 90s thicky thickems
Props, one of my low key classics over the years
Such an enjoyable album
Incredible album, he honestly has like 5 classic albums. My favorite is Slaughter House though. Disposable
Arts, and Long Hot Summer ...amazing!
More Masta Ace car classics....
