And this album is apart of a trilogy which means when probably won't get the last installment until 2022...
One of the few artists who can take such long breaks between albums, but the product be worth it.

Btw, I find it no coincidence that Maxwell has worked closely with Stuart Matthewman from Sade throughout his career. Max and all of Sade are cut from the same cloth when it comes to releasing albums. I like it though--only drop music when you feel like you have something worthwhile to say. I feel like more artists, and music as a whole, could benefit from approaching music like this.
