Metal Gear Solid 4

contrary to what people say, i enjoyed 2 a lot.. i guess it was the timing of when i played. they talked about the patriots and how they controlled everything, from the recount and close elections, wars, etc.. i played 2 right around 2004, so the election topics got me

I liked it but I agree it is the least enjoyable one of out the Solid Series. I need to play MG1 & 2.
the only part i didnt like about 2 was the back tracking, which was the whole game

lol 2 had me the most paranoid I've ever been. Especially near the end. Kojima is a Genius.

IMO:

Snake Eater > MGS1 > Guns Of The Patriots > Sons Of Liberty.

Sorry to all the MGS2 fans, but the Big Shell chapter w/ Raiden was annoying as hell. Controls were really clunky too. MGS4 had the best controls hands down.

Agreed. MGS4 was like a bad JB retro. Almost what you want but when you look a the game as a whole its lacking. MGS3 had everything: a gripping story, greatcharacters, somewhat tied to actual historical events, the sniper battle with the end! Come on people. And for the record I was a little bummed with the wholemetal gear battle in MGS4.
