Michael Vick can be better than Steve Young

He was better than Steve Young before he went to prison.

I don't know about all that.

If he keeps playing like he did last year for the next few years and remains relatively healthy it's a possibility.

mike is like a running back who is an awesome passer too.
Steve Young:
Most Rushing Touchdowns by a QB, Career - 43
Most Rushing Yards by a QB, Postseason Career - 594
Most Rushing Touchdowns by a QB, Postseason Career - 8

Not a wacky comparison at all, though Steve > Mike by a hell of a lot.

Steve Young is my favorite player of all time... but it could happen. Vick just turned 31, and Young didn't start until he was 30. If Vick stays with Andy Reid and keeps up the high level of play for 5 years, then they would have comparable careers.

I'm going to ride with GUNNA on this one.

I'm as big a Vick fan as you will find on this board, but he has a way to go...  It's not impossible, though.

I think Vick at his very best is somewhat close to Young at his very best, but the consistency with which Young did it is miles and miles ahead of Vick.

If he keeps playing like he did last season for the next five or so seasons (which I doubt he) and if he wins a ring, then we can start having this discussion. But right now? Cmon....
