I feel your pain. I suffer from migraines every other day, some lasting for 10-15 mins, other times 20+ mins if I don't catch them early. From 1998-2000 Ihad them everyday. There were days when I could not lift my head up because it hurt so much. I never took anything prescribed, just over the counter stuffwhich worked. After this period, the migraines faded away, but within the last year or so (started grad school last fall) they returned but not as frequent. Ihave never been diagnosed with anything, but I think part of the reason for my migraine/history is connected to stress. When they first appeared I was juststarting high school, and when they reappeared I began grad school. My mind constantly races, and I worry a lot about every little thing, plus I think I havesome OCD type tendencies, so I am sure this adds to my propensity to get migraines. I don't smoke, so I stick with the meds.
