Minor changes to the look of the board: your sig's, the left frame in threads, featured topics

Signature Tamed

I'll address the changes to signatures first because I suspect that's what we'll be discussing for the next ___ pages.

Some of you have signatures that exceed our "five lines of normal sized text or the equivalent space" size limitation so we've forced it uponyou. Now, anyone with a sig' over five lines will have the overage hidden. We no longer have to take the time to contact you about it and you cancontinue posting ignorant of our size limitation for signatures.

The Left Frame

No one liked how large the spacing was for the left frame containing ouravatars, post count, post time, etc. so we figured out how to decrease its size. Anyone with a user name longer than probably 15 characters will have theiruser name cut off.

Featured Topics

Instead of the possibility of five different font sizes, we've got only one. There was no point in featuring an important thread if it was only going todisplay at this size.



I mentioned the second and third changes to make sure that you know we're looking out for you and tomake sure there's no question as to whether it was done intentionally or not.

it took a while to get used to, but i have to say, i'm kinda liking the new look niketalk. it's a lot cleaner.

Can you make it so posts don't get their own windows? I hate having to scroll to the bottom to scroll right.

I think he means how when someone posts a pic that is too big it used to create a "general" scroll bar at the bottom of your browser asopposed to now where if creates a "user specific" scroll bar localized to that poster's post window. If that makes any sense.
