It isn't anything I can do, but I've asked for an e-mail notification of a new reply or replies where we're only sent one e-mail until we check thethread again and the link in the e-mail takes us to the most recent reply. It's something that vBulletin boards are able to do and I prefer it. Ihaven't been on AOL in years, but it was a small annoyance to have to delete so many e-mails back then and it's annoyance again now that I get mye-mail on my phone.

There's no silver bullet for eliminating fake websites from appearing in online advertising. It's a process that requires constant vigilance. For everyone you block, another two sites may be created.

Google apparently doesn't do any research into the type of business it accepts - though I would hope that they do care. Until they start screening outtheir advertisers, all we can do is block them when they appear.


We'll report these sites and have them blocked. If you come across any others, send us a PM and we'll block those as well. That's really all we cando. The onus is on Jordan brand to shut these places down and on Google to stop placing ads for illegal businesses.

You claim to understand our previous explanations of this topic, yet you've complained about fake ads twice in thisthread. Again, how can you expect me to take your opinion seriously?

As for your next question quoted above, you're complaining about us paying our operating costs and donating tocharities through the use of small ad's and wondering if it's all still necessary, correct? Please take a step back and review your question.

You're complaining that a lack of presence by "known" staff members is part of the decline in your experience on NT, but you don't know uswell enough to be assured that we'd let people know if $25+ donations (thanks again Team Members) would be enough to pay the costs again? Even if Yuku wasgiven to us for free, do you really believe that we'd stop running these small ad's to donate thousands of dollars to needy charities just so thatpeople wouldn't have to scroll past small ads?


Do you understand why I might be a little bit peeved at theway you've voiced your displeasure with the site? Do you understand why I stated my belief that you were either whining without real cause or just againstchange in general?

It occurs to me that Jordan does an AWFUL amount of subversive advertising on NikeTalk for free right now. If they'd like to actually purchase advertisinglegitimately or otherwise keep the site funded, then perhaps we wouldn't have to run Google Ads. I get the feeling they'd rather continue to justtake, take, take without giving back, though.

I have made some mistakes on the way I perceive things and I am big enough to check my "ego" at the door and admit my faults.

I apologize.

But, my problem with this site is this...

Over that last few years I have seen a change in people's attitude on NT.
Arrogance has taken over, along with a maturity level that has Dropped beyond control or repair.
We have made our own mistakes as a "community" here @ NT, yet have we ackknowledged them?

Who are we to stand on our "Ministers Pulpit" and judge others?
(A lesson I am trying to learn myself everyday)

i went to my options and edited my sig the same way i did before but when i go to reply the post options button says "Dont use a signature" and icant change it to the sig i would like to use.

But, my problem with this site is this...
This is your third different problem in as many posts. Every time one issue is addressed, you come upwith another one. That type of criticism is difficult to take seriously. We're trying our best. I'm not sure how many people can honestly say thesame. That we continue to work so hard on the site, that we continue to drive improvements to the forum's atmosphere and interface at great time andexpense (particularly in terms of opportunity cost) demonstrates that we feel there is always room for improvement and that we're committed to sacrificingin order to make the site better than it already is. If we thought the site was perfect, obviously that wouldn't be the case. We'd just be onauto-pilot, and there's no way we can be accused of that on the heels of the single largest change in the history of the forum.

And the ads he was referring to were served by Google. If we find inappropriate ads served by another provider, we'll deal with them. Thusfar, though, the lion's share of ads for counterfeiters have been served by Google. I don't really see why that's so funny, but then I supposeI'm not easily amused.

It's my understanding that the extension of ezsupporter is nothing more than legacy support for existing subscribers. There are unlimited PMsfor all users, HTML is available for all users, and the ads are being served to all users. I've spoken to a number of people on the development team,including the lead developer, on this front and that's the most current information I have.

For some reason, out of nowhere, the bottom part of my sig is being cut-off, and I've got three lines appearing instead of one.

It looks fine in the edit box, but when I click save, it still comes out all funky. Can anyone help?

I'll post the screen shot of what I'm getting.

This is what I have set up in the signature edit page.

As you can see, the bottom half of my sig is being cut off.

Before, it used to fit. I copied the sig from the old ezboard. But I just don't understand why it's acting all funky.

Well, if you take a look at the first post of the thread you're in, you'll notice that we're hiding/cutting off sig's that are larger than fivelines of normal sized text.

If you take a look at page three, you'll see that people have removed one and two extra lines that were appearing in their sig's, just like what'shappening to you.

Copy your signature, erase everything, center justify and paste.
