***MLB FEET AND EQUIPMENT 2018***NEW THREAD

I noticed this Braves player has the swoosh going opposite direction. Are these the vapor elites from 2016?

Ay.... so JB just dropped the 11s on football. Are those TD spikes screwed in or molded in? Would buying replacement baseball spikes work out (if screwed in)?
TDs are molded. Hard TPU like the MCS baseball models but a different configuration of course.

I'll prob keep the mids n figure out what to do with the lows. Should be here thursday

Adam Jones posted his cleats on IG. He is on Griffey's Swingman team but this years cleats look like slightly moddified Alpha Huarache Elites. Is the swingman line done?

No new products came out last year, Swingman guys were wearing the same cleats and batting gloves as 2016 just in new c/w's. The line seems to be dead unfortunately.

Anyone playing in this year’s huarache alpha mids and know how they fit? Can’t find a review online and can’t find my size in stores to try on before ordering ID’s. Been having to go half size up on some Nike’s recently but not sure on these.

So I attended my first Dodgers game of 2018 MLB season on Sunday for ESPN Sunday Night Baseball. I got a great deal for $15.59 because I was able to sneak down to a field level seat I normally like to occupy whenever it's unsold, 5th row in that section to be specific.

And it's nice to see reigning NL Rookie Of The Year is now wearing Nike and not crappy Under Armour like last season during his stellar rookie campaign. Here he is getting his first hit of the season in the form of a 2-run home run in the 6th inning.

As a bonus for upgrading myself to a good seat in Dodger Stadium that day, I sat in a section segregated behind Jennifer Lopez & DeMarcus Cousins who were seated in dugout club seats in front of me, a section for rich folks and stars. Here they are leaving the game in separate moments.

I’m surprised you didn’t get kicked out. Saw a few people move up in the late innings and they got booted back to their seats.

Did you attend the game on Sunday?

Yeah it depends on the usher honestly. Some are strict, some are lenient or just don't give a damn. It depends on who you run into.

I'm actually cool with some ushers on field level because I established myself with the cool ones last season. I also attended 34 regular season games, NLDS Game 2, NLCS Game 1. And World Series Game 7 for free! The cool ones like me luckily and recognize me and know my name too. But ironically I don't sit in the sections of the peeps I'm cool with, I prefer to go to specific sections because I can see better and get better angles to take pictures. They're my backup plan which I rarely utilize honestly.

It's not hard to sneak down to field level seats in Dodger Stadium, you just have to time it right when an usher is distracted trying to help direct fans to their seats or sections. Sometimes an usher is responsible for 2 sections so they may have to escort fans which creates an opening to walk in. Sometimes there's literally no usher for a moment so you can walk in freely.

The key is to know about the unsold seats of a section for a game so that way you know where to go instead of looking around for empty seats when you arrive in a section which will draw unwanted attention.

I went Saturday. The usher who was in our section was on it. I can see with how many games you went to they’ll be pretty cool. Had a friend who had season tickets and they knew him well cause he’s a talker. Worked out good because we would move closer and wouldn’t have any issues.

What I like now is how many fan support people were available. If I had any questions there was always someone willing to help unlike years before when you’d never find anyone to get some help.

Well guys, as I suspected, Nike is stopping the production of their fielding gloves. I tweeted to Nike Baseball today and they confirmed they are no longer offering fielding gloves at this time. Doesn't come as a shock, but it sucks still the same to me. Their Diamond Elite Gold and Pro lines were very nice.

Does anyone have an idea of why Pujols is wearing Marucci batting gloves? He started wearing them on April 3rd and has not switched back to his Nikes since. Really odd to see in a milestone of him getting his 3000th hit in something other than Nike.
