moments in sports that made you cry.

MORE THAN A GAME.

Only twice can I remember crying over a sporting event...

1. KU losing to Zona in 1997.
2. Chiefs losing to the Colts, at home in 1995.

Didnt cry but I wanted to after me and my dad drove from DC to Atlanta, only to watch The Vols choke and lose to LSU and blow a chance to go the Rose Bowl. That was a long drive home. The second was watching the Giants get dominated by the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

another one is watching ali light the torch. really touching to see sutch a larger than life man being broke down..

Uconn's first championship in 1999 got me a little, same with Jordan on Father's Day, and Tiger winning the British Open after his dad died...

Lemiuex's retirement and then his comeback. That surpassed sports

And when the Steelers won the title, I got a little teary eyed, but not like I did for Mario

Jordan winning the title and crying on the ground gets me as well, same with the Miracle on Ice since it was SO MUCH BIGGER than the game. It meant so much to this country

Don't laugh at me for this one. I was 12.

Although I was a Bulls fan during the 90's, I was always a fan of Shaq. When MJ dipped, I became a Laker fan by association with Shaq (Which is also why I'm a Kobe fan now).

2004 WCF. Game Four I believe.

Faggio Tim Duncan, who hurt me soul when they beat the knicks in 99, hits the bucket. .04 seconds left. I was sufficiently heated. I dipped out the living room, I didn't even see the shot.

Still TD could eat a @#%$ for spearheading the MOST BORING STYLE OF PLAY IN NBA HISTORY.

^I'm not knocking his abilities or accomplishments, I just don't like the product he puts on the floor with his team.

Its so monotonous. It works though.

Wow, It's been so long I even remember the wrong yardage. Yes, I meant 4th and 26. Most ridiculous play ever, I maintain to this day that would have been our year.
