Money Mayweather bets $5.9 million on the Heat tonight

I swear some of you internet era kids are so gullible.

May as well lock this up.
Yeah because Todd's Take is so legit
he's one of the many guys out here that's "in" when it comes to what's happening in vegas

take floyd out of it.....there's not 1 book in Vegas that will take a bet that big on a game 7 eastern conference final.....super bowl? maybe just maybe but even then he'd probably have to split it b/t 2 or 3 books

juice might have been higher then that.....but I doubt any book was offering an adjusted line of the Heat +7 (original line is Heat -7) and if they did then the juice had to be -800 or more

and mayweather betting that much is not confirmed.....someone tweeted and new age media ran with it

nobody is getting off a bet that big in vegas......and if and I mean IF he did bet that amount with a book do trust he has lost way more money.....a bet that big from one man would've moved miami to -8.5 just off the fact that sportsbook would've been begging for money on the other side to even out their risk

I know I know there's a fake ticket roaming around that has been confirmed by vegas insiders as being fake.....all the gambling guys in the industry have been tweeting about how gullible twitter users are for believing this rumor

and whoever started this **** said 5.9 million to win 5 million.....5.5 million would win that cause the vig is 10 cents

It's like you're speaking a foreign language.

Teach me.
To be honest.

I get this feeling that as obnoxious as Mayweather is with his money, that he's smart with it behind closed doors.

Exactly, I believe this as well. All the "Money" Mayweather antics do nothing but bring him more attention, raise his profile, and cause more people to hate or love him which in turn stimulates and even increases the PPV money for his fights. Smart move from a business perspective if you ask me.

Similar to Muhammad Ali who has been quoted in the past (referring to himself) of saying that he wasn't as confident and brash as he portrayed himself in his career but he did many of his now famous antics to increase the gate at his fights and earn more money. Ali looked up to the wrestler Gorgeous George(the Rick Flair of his time) and borrowed many of his antics to draw attention to himself. Mayweather is smart fighter and even smarter businessman that is following a tried and true method a gaining more attention to himself thus increasing his profitatbility.

r u insane? No way is boxing a dying sport, it's existed long before any other sport known to man
Yup, the sport is dying if the only reason you watched to begin with is PAC or money and know nothing about the sport. Other than that.... Nah
