MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, or other? which is the best free email service?

I've used MSN for years but it's not very organized, feels slow to load, and Ive had instances where I had trouble accessing my account.

so Im thinking of switching....probably to G-mail. ?

opinions on which providers are best? which to avoid?

Anyways, Gmail b/c POP is free, whereas, with Yahoo you have to upgrade (pay) to use it.
