Lately I have been hearing that PS3 and Xbox servers on mw2 have been awful. I played today on PS3 and every single game lagged ridiculously. Anybody else having problems?

MW2 runs on p2p. and the matchmaking is @@% juice

the "servers" you speak of are related to people's Xbox/PS3 hosting the match. There are no dedicated server-->client relationships in MW2.
If you're lagging a lot check your NAT and make sure it's open and make sure you're running a wired connection.
