sick. i replied to your question in that other thread.

how do you go about verifying that they're game worn?

i know there's a way you can pay money and get stuff signed by him... i want to get my OG black toes signed... anyone know how?

How and where can you pay $ to get a pair autographed by MJ?

Also to answer your question i was contacted by a sports specialist @ Juliens Lie auction house in Beverly Hills, Califormia. They say his experts can find the way to do it once they have been submitted for review to join the Auction this up coming May.

So i feel eally good about that though. Even without being game worn they estimate this to be in the $3-6 k Range.

Lol, I remember that thread -Good to hear how your journey with the shoes has progressed. Congrats

Yeah its been a while since last gave you guys an update. anyways, it feel really good to be part of the experience and Thanks to Niketalk users for their very good opinions and suggestions. Always grateful. Thank you guys.

Nice frickin come-up fam.

Store those or display them, if I were you. if possible, DON'T flip em. You were blessed to get them at $10. It'd be almost like bad karma if you flip em. (unless you really, REALLY have to).

1995 Concords are my holy grails. Can't imagine stumbling upon some GW joints by Money himself.

Stupid, STUPID come-up man. Props.

Are they upper deck authenticated? I know MJ has an exclusive contract and only authenticates thru UD. Doesn't mean it's fake at all but in terms of market value some collectors won't touch anything not UD authentic.

And for those asking about getting a pair signed by MJ, you have to wait for an event to sign up and send your items in to be signed. Fees range depending on the item but I think shoes run about 1K and you only get one shoe signed. Last event was back in 2011 I think. I was recently looking to get my pinstripe bulls signed but haven't heard of any upcoming events.

I just went to your original thread and ill I gotta say is wow... Congrats on the AMAZING pickup. This is why I shop at thrift stores a few times a month haha

What makes it more amazing is that it was found in NYC.

There's a whole culture of pickers around thrift stores, salvation army stores, etc. because good stuff does make it to these places in an area like NYC - I'm talking about more about subtle, but expensive clothing more so than OG signed Sample Concords. But, the point is in order to get something good at a place like that in NYC, it usually has to slip past that crowd - the way an awesome outlet drop or a restock would have to slip by NT.

It's hard to come up as a casual digger here, which makes this find all that much more remarkable.

$10?! Wow man you are gonna turn that into a few $G's!!
Well... Its now about a total of $250 that i got invested in it. $10 for the sneakers, $200 in getting them authenticated by JSA plus the gas and toll spent to drive there. But still nonetheless an amazing come up.

Well while Upper Authentication is one of the most prestigeous authentication service among collectors it is not necesary true that most collectors only touch UDA items and not necesarily true that may determine hugher value. i guess it depends on the item, the condition, the rarity and the sports figure we are talking about.

Also how do you request for Jordan to sign a pair for me that'd be awesome and if its true i'll do it. The problem is where and when is this service available... You see thats where rarity comes into play.
