The Pharrell beat isn’t horrible it just sounds like a rushed throw away. Nas still snapped on it.

nas' rapping is too good. every time this guy raps it's like time freezes. his skill is too consistent and just too good. he can do anything.


with that being said

i dont want him to be artistic

i want him to just rap and let someone else be executive producer. they just pick the best beats and control the flow of the project, its theme, and decide whether or not to seek another hook


im saying that cuz im happy with the lost tapes 2, but OBVIOUSLY it's a compilation of leftover tracks from all over the place

That beat sounded like it was left off LR IMO

It has a similar sound and feel to “Still Dreaming” to me so I’d guess around ‘06ish.

The whole point is that these are literally loose tracks or songs that didnt make albums. At best, Nas arranged the tracklisting. Ain't no theme or exec producer for this.
